BIOGRAPHY
Claudia Mayorga is the Administrative Assistant and James K. Guthrie Music Rental Library Manager for the San Bernardino Symphony Association.
She received her Bachelors of Arts in Music from California State University San Bernardino and soon after attended the University’s April 2024 Department of Arts and Letters Internship and Career Fair where she connected with Symphony staff who were impressed with her musical knowledge and enthusiasm. In June, she started as a volunteer Intern, assisting with daily tasks, taking calls, making spreadsheets, running errands, and preparing music for the new San Bernardino Symphony Youth Orchestra. Her efficient efforts eventually led to her current position beginning in November 2024.
With an emphasis on giving back to her community, Claudia is passionate about paving the way for youth to excel in music and feel included. She continues to assist the Symphony Youth Orchestra, and in her new role, provides a high level of customer service with a friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and demonstrated willingness to help advance the mission of the SBSO.
A strong believer in higher education, Claudia hopes to someday be part of a school district’s team inspiring students to become involved in music.
