Dr. Kobernik maintains a studio of private oboe students, and has written her own beginning oboe method and subsequent books of duets for them. She enjoyed teaching music appreciation classes at Riverside Community College for five years, and has also been on the faculty of numerous other universities, including La Sierra University, UC Riverside, Cal Baptist College, and Cal State San Bernardino.
