Violinist Ji Young An is a graduate from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in France, and earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Her main teachers include Olivier Charlier, Guillaume Sutre, Suzanne Gessner and Maryvonne le Dizes.

She is an alumnus of the Académie Internationale de Musique Maurice Ravel and the Taos School of Music. Ji Young currently serves as Associate Concertmaster of the San Bernardino Symphony, Principal Second of Opera Santa Barbara, and section violin of the Santa Barbara Symphony.

She also enjoys working in recording studios for various movies and video games. Aside from performing, Ji Young devotes her time into teaching - maintaining her own private studio and serving as violin faculty at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, since 2016.
