Concert 1: Contrasts

Mendelssohn’s joyous Italian symphony Contrasts with Beethoven’s rhythmic Intensity as we Commence our 83rd Season with two of The world’s most Famous “fourths”.

Concert 2: Evening on the Rhine
Saturday, November 19, 2011, 8pm
Spend an evening exploring the rhine with Rossini’s overture to “the italian in algiers” And schumann’s “rhenish” symphony. Norman Krieger returns to San Bernardino to enchant In Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, in C minor, op. 37.

Concert 3: Marvelous Mozart
Sunday, January 15, 2012, 3pm
Experience the beauty of woodwinds and brass In Swiss composer Frank Martin’s masterful Concerto, then delight in the tunes of “Tubby the Tuba” composed by San Bernardino’s Own George Kleinsinger.

                              An “Instrument Petting Zoo” will be held in Conjunction with the concert.

Concert 4: Orchestral Treasures

Experience international cellist Jesús A. Morales’ debut performance in San Bernardino as he plays Elgar’s Stunning cello concerto, then relish in the treasure that is Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony no.9.


Concert #5: Tchaikovsky's Finest
Saturday, May 19, 2012, 8pm
Tchaikovsky’s dazzling fourth Symphony and Joaquin Rodrigo’s Evocative “Concierto de Aranjuez” Crown our 83rd season and Celebrate our 11 years Under the baton of Maestro Ponti.
